The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the risk-based internal audit (RBIA) rules for all deposit taking and non-deposit taking HFCs (Housing Finance Companies) having assets above Rs 5,000 crore. These rules will be effective from 30 June 2022.
RBI has imposed an aggregate fine of Rs 6 crore on Bank of India and Punjab National Bank for violation of norms.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has changed some rules regarding cash withdrawal from ATMs. The new rules include higher fees on transactions in excess of the free permissible limit. Government Initiative And Schemes:-
Indian Government has launched the “Expansion of Hospitals” project in several states to bridge the gap in key health infrastructure to fight COVID-19. This project will run exclusively in rural areas and small towns.
Madhya Pradesh government will launch ‘Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan’ to increase awareness among people on the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the campaign, college teachers and about 16 lakh students will be made aware of the Kovid-19 infection and educate about the appropriate behavior and vaccination of Kovid.
The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government Of India has launched “Project O2 for India” with an aim to ensure the supply of critical raw materials such as zeolites. It will also set up small oxygen plants, manufacture compressors, and end products such as oxygen plants, concentrators, and ventilators.

India and Kuwait signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on Domestic Worker Recruitment on June 10, 2021. This MoU will bring Indian domestic workers to the Gulf country within a legal framework that will provide them protection under the law.
India and Argentina have signed the MoU for cooperation in the field of mineral resources.

India has signed a loan agreement of 200 dollars with the world bank for a national nutrition campaign.
CBSE has collaborated with Microsoft to introduce coding as a new subject in their curriculum for the students of classes 6 to 8 and data science for the students of 8 to 12 in the academic session 2021-22.
The government of the Karnataka industrial development board has signed an MoU with HDFC to provide a wide range of financial services to its customers.
The Defence Ministry has signed a contract with Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Telephonics Integrated Systems for procurement of 11 Airport Surveillance Radars with Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar for Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.
