Ric Flair’s grieving ex-wife has denied being the woman the WWE legend claims has let him down after taking ‘millions’ and pleaded with trolls to stop targeting her as she continues to mourn her late son.
Flair, one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time, admitted in an emotional Instagram post Thursday that he has been left ‘disappointed’ in an unnamed female that he ‘sacrificed millions’ to support.
‘I’ve Laughed, Cried, And Thought, And I’m So Disappointed In One Person,’ the 75-year-old wrote. ‘That Has Let Me Down And I Gave My Life To. I Mean Literally, Sacrificed Millions To Support Her. Merry Christmas To Everyone! Thank You Jimmy V For Giving Me The Inspiration!’
Just three months after they announced their split, many were quick to speculate that Flair was referring to ex-wife Wendy, 64, who is currently grieving the loss of her son Sebastian.
Sebastian died by suicide at the age of 24 back in October after being discovered in Georgia with a gunshot wound, according to TMZ Sports.
And after being targeted with cruel messages from trolls who thought Flair’s post was about her, Wendy has taken to Instagram herself to deny as much while stressing that she is still grieving.

Three months on from their split, many were quick to speculate that it was about his ex-wife Wendy (left), who is currently grieving after the death of her son Sebastian (left)
‘This is a Message to all of @ricflairnatureboy Fans who think he wrote that post yesterday about me , Please stop sending mean messages,’ she wrote alongside a photo of her leaning on Sebastian’s coffin at his funeral. ‘That post was about a Family member not me!
‘I am Grieving the loss of my Son and trying to Celebrate his life in a Positive way during the Holidays – I have no room in my life or Heart for this kind of Drama or Hate.
‘I can’t take anymore Pain this season’.
Flair also came out and denied that he was referring to his ex-wife in another post on Instagram; albeit in bizarre fashion after ranting about people assuming that he was talking about a woman, despite using the term ‘her’ in his original post.
‘There Seems To Be Some Disconnect. This Isn’t About Wendy Or Anybody In My Family! This Is About A Guy Who Owes Me Money From A Business Arrangement 20 Years Ago, I Mean Literally A Two Million Dollar Business Deal. I Think About It Everyday,’ he wrote.
‘People Always Assume That With Me It Has Something To Do With A Woman. In This Case, It Absolutely Does Not.
‘I Would Drop His Name, But Then I Would Have Another Lawsuit. I Already Lost One To Him Because I Couldn’t Afford To Fight The Insurance Company!’
Ric and Wendy, a retired All-American-ranked professional tennis player, split once before in 2022, only to reconcile a few months later.

Wendy was Ric’s fifth wife after his previous marriages to Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark and Jaqueline Beems.
They first met close to 40 years ago when they both worked at World Championship Wrestling. Wendy even appeared alongside Ric in wrestling shows as the character Fifi – a French maid who worked as his personal valet.
After Flair’s divorce from Beems in 2014 the pair then began dating, before they wed four years later.
Ric has four children, two coming from his relationship with Goodman and as many from his time with Harrell.
