What Is The Bulli Bai App?

The app “Bulli Bai” was purportedly discovered auctioning off images of Muslim women, months after anonymous individuals launched a similar app called “Sulli Deals,” where photos of hundreds of Muslim women were discovered and posted from their social media accounts. Following a widespread outcry on social media, the app was removed. Users may build and distribute apps on GitHub, an open-source platform. However, it is unclear who built the Bulli Bai app.

Muslim women having a prominent presence on Twitter, especially journalists, have been targeted out and images of them have been posted.
