Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes already knew they had a blockbuster curtain raiser to start the season, hosting the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium on September 5, following by another home game vs. Cincinnati Bengals on Week 2.
Kirk Cousins and the Falcons welcome the Chiefs to Atlanta on Week 3 for Sunday Night Football and it’s a second straight road game on Week 4, with the team in California to play the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kelce will have his older brother Jason analyzing his game on Week 5 when the New Orleans Saints arrive at Arrowhead for Monday Night Football. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Jason has joined ESPN’s coverage during the NFL season.

Patrick Mahomes is bidding to deliver a third straight Super Bowl title to Kansas City
A bye week falls on Week Six – the earliest the Chiefs have had in the Mahomes era.
And it gives the team time to refresh before their Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers back in California for Week 7. Tom Brady, in his new role as a FOX Sports analyst, will be there for that.
The Chiefs beat the 49ers by three points in the showpiece game back in February with Mecole Hardman’s overtime touchdown in Las Vegas.
In the immediate aftermath of glory that night in February, Kelce underlined his target of three in a row.
‘Well, you know the goal has always been to get three,’ Kelce screamed on stage. ‘But we couldn’t get here without getting that two, and having that target on our back all year. How about that? We get a chance to do it three times in a row.’
Week 8 brings a trip to the Raiders and Week 9 is another Monday Night Football game at Arrowhead, this time against Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be a second game that Jason Kelce gets to call with his brother playing.
Week 10 is a matchup with the Denver Broncos before another tantalizing showdown with the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.
A trip to Carolina to play the Panthers falls on Week 12 and is followed by a Black Friday game at home to the Raiders and another showdown with the Chargers after that.
Kelce and coach Andy Reid are now gearing up for a shot at NFL history this season
Kelce will return to Cleveland for Week 15 to play the Browns. The Chiefs’ then round the season out against Houston Texans, the Steelers on Christmas Day and the Broncos.
From then on, it’ll be the playoffs, where it would be nothing other than the ultimate surprise if the Chiefs were not involved.
The Chiefs will also play three preseason games against Jacksonville Jaguars (Aug. 10), Detroit Lions (Aug. 17) and Chicago Bears (Aug. 22).
