Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are on a collision course to meet in the men’s Olympic singles final after both grand slam champions won their quarter-final matches in straight sets.

Alcaraz, who’s on an 11-game winning streak at Roland Garros after winning the French Open title earlier this year, dismissed American Tommy Paul 6-3, 7-6 overnight, while Djokovic reined in Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3,7-6.
Alcaraz will take on Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada, who won 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 over three-time major runner-up Casper Ruud of Norway, and the 37-year-old Djokovic will meet Lorenzo Musetti of Italy.

Musetti eliminated Tokyo Games gold medallist Alexander Zverev of Germany 7-5, 7-5.
“One of my best matches, so far, of my career,” said the 22-year-old Musetti, who reached his first major semi-final at Wimbledon last month before losing to Djokovic.
