Liverpool fans have reacted to new footage showing some unique pre-season training under new manager Arne Slot.
The former Feyenoord coach has the daunting challenge of following in the footsteps of legendary manager Jurgen Klopp.
Earlier this week, he insisted he is ‘relishing’ that challenge as he hailed the club’s ‘winning culture’ in his first press conference since arriving at Anfield.

However, it appears he might have to win over some fans when it comes to explaining his pre-season training methods.
A clip emerged on social media appearing to show the players punching one another.

Another said: ‘Slot encouraging straighteners. We are so back.’
A third added: ‘PGMOL shaking when we are ready for war next season.’
A fourth also said: ‘It’s interesting to see the different training exercises the new coach is adding. Adds freshness to training.’
A fifth added: ‘Tsimikas was shooting a gun yesterday and now they’re all having a scrap in training.. What is Arne Slot cooking?’
Last week, Slot was stopped from announcing the names of two new arrivals during his first press conference.

Liverpool fans were quick to react on social media to the pre-season training video
Speaking on the transfer window, he said: ‘I think what has been announced already is Sipke Hulshoff, who I’ve already worked with at Feyenoord and our former club Cambuur.
‘He’s sitting in the room as well like you probably saw. Goalkeeping coach has been announced, I haven’t worked with him but we’ve spoken to him and are really happy he’s going to join our team.’
There was then an amusing moment for those in attendance as he announced that he was ‘expecting two others to join’.
He proceeded to ask ‘can we?’ as he looked in the direction of Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes, who knocked him back.
