KL Rahul, who led India as captain today, played a 74-run off 55 balls innings. He smashed nine fours and two sixes during his 87- min long stay. His fifty came off 43 deliveries but the star batter could not take India past 169.

Western Australia’s bowlers made things tough for the visitors. M Kelly took two wickets for 26 runs, Morris came up with impressive figures of 2 for 23 followed by Andrew Tye’s 1-16 in his four overs.
