Guess what? It’s raining
KL Rahul hits a beautiful four, then immediately the rain hits and the crowd audibly groans at the Gabba.
The rain looks even heavier this time, and we could be in for a long enough break.

Cummins gets first wicket of day
Rishabh Pant is gone with the skipper Pat Cummins getting his first wicket. Pant is gone for just nine runs and he gets a big nick which Carey takes cleanly. India are in all sorts of trouble here at the Gabba.
The momentum pendulum is locked on Australia with India having no answer in Brisbane with the bat and ball.

In 2008, Mitch Marsh represented Western Australia in the Under 18 AFL championships and he showed that he still can pull down big grabs when it matters, this time at the Gabba with a memorable catch for his country.
On a stop-start day of rain, Marsh provided a one man highlight reel.
The rain is back
Rain is becoming the theme of the day, unfortunately. My predictions from the rain radar a little bit earlier were not wrong and play has been broken up again as the players head off the field.
It’s extremely difficult for both India and Australia to get any sort of rhythm out there.

The players are back
I have checked the rain radar hovering over Brisbane and I think we might have one or two more rain delays, but that is something to worry about in the future.
Right now the players are back on the field and KL Rahul will be facing Josh Hazlewood. Can Australia get another quick wicket?

Hopefully, the rain will pass and the sides can get back on the field. It’s been a frustrating enough day for the spectators at the Gabba.
