Kareena Kapoor Khan recently opened up about how the box office failure of Laal Singh Chaddha impacted her co-star Aamir Khan. She shared that Aamir was really affected by the film not performing well at the box office.
In a roundtable interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Kareena described Laal Singh Chaddha as a “beautiful and honest film.” She mentioned that Aamir, a key supporter of the film, was deeply affected by its box office failure. Kareena also recalled a lighthearted moment with Aamir at an event, where he jokingly asked if she would still talk to him despite the film’s performance. She reassured him, expressing her pride in playing the role of Rupa in the movie.

Bebo also shared that she feels her role as Rupa in Laal Singh Chaddha has had a greater impact on her than even a big project like Singham Again.
Kareena further shared a personal story about telling Aamir she was pregnant during the filming of Laal Singh Chaddha. She was halfway through shooting when she revealed the news, encouraged by her husband Saif Ali Khan. Kareena was touched by Aamir’s supportive response, as he assured her they would finish the film together.
Kareena also expressed her gratitude for being part of Laal Singh Chaddha, calling it a project made “with all heart.” She mentioned that everyone involved gave their best, and while they didn’t expect the film to make Rs 500 crore, it was the honesty of the story that mattered most.
