Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is known for his charm, dance moves, and powerful performances. Often called Bollywood’s Greek God, the actor enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. So, when he recently announced international meet-and-greet events in the US, fans were thrilled to meet him up close. But things took an unexpected turn.
Events in Atlanta and Dallas – part of the Rangotsav 2025: Festival of Colors with Hrithik Roshan – have now sparked outrage online after fans claimed they were mismanaged and traumatic. The actor was supposed to interact with his fans, but many say the experience left them disappointed, heartbroken, and even frightened.
‘Waited 2 hours just to get refused?’
A user on the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip shared their shocking experience, writing, “Spent $1500 + general admission tickets for each person to meet Hrithik Roshan and I didn’t even get a picture. Refused to take pictures with half the meet and greet line and turned us away even though we spent so much money. We waited 2 hours in line just to get refused?”
The fan further revealed, “Not to mention it was outside in such cold weather. He showed up for a 30 minute show. Waste of VIP!!! Oh yes they won’t even give us a refund!! Love Hrithik but this event was so unorganised even he was annoyed.”
This post quickly went viral, as others who attended the event shared similar stories. Some even pointed fingers at the actor himself, “Why put the blame on the organizers only? Hrithik needs to be blamed as well.” Another user wrote, “This is completely true! My friend went and she said it was horrible. Next he is coming to NJ and see the poster! Ridiculous pricing.”

Fans call the event a complete chaos
Alongside complaints about the high prices and short appearance, many fans shared stories of children being put at risk. One person commented on Hrithik’s Instagram post, “Unfortunately, what we witnessed was complete chaos— small kids being pushed and even stampeded. I personally saw children caught in potentially dangerous situations, which was extremely concerning. Going forward, please consider partnering only with capable and experienced organizers for such events. Poor management not only affects the fan experience but can also harm your credibility, which we know you’ve built with so much hard work over the years.”
Another heartbroken parent shared, “I am a parent of my little girl Kiara who is part of Arya dancing group. Yesterday right when kids got on stage to perform, their song began and immediately they were pushed off stage. I have the video that shows shocked and scared kids being rushed off stage. My 9yr daughter expressed her fear where all kids were scared crying and and hugging each other behind stage. They performed for weeks leading to this amazing event and they are traumatised. We as kids get scarred if something little to us as adults but not so little to them as these are their first experiences.”
So far, Hrithik Roshan and his team have not released a statement about the complaints. Many fans have been commenting directly on his Instagram posts, hoping to get a response or an apology. The next stops on his US tour include New Jersey on 10 April, Chicago on 12 April, and the Bay Area on 13 April. Fans are now hoping these upcoming events are better planned and safer, especially after what happened in Atlanta and Dallas.
