To date, there are only 5 Hollywood movies have crossed the Rs 30 crore mark on its opening day in India, with ‘Avengers: Endgame’ still reigning supreme, earning approximately Rs 53.10 crore.
‘Deadpool 3’ is projected to start strong with a collection surpassing the Rs 30 crore mark, setting up to be one of the highest-earning films of the year in India.
Industry analysts are attributing the strong advance booking numbers to the unique pairing of the two beloved characters – Deadpool and Wolverine. Besides making a strong start, the film is also expected to have a good opening weekend at the box office.
