To celebrate the success of the film, the Khiladi star recently hosted a dinner party for the entire cast and crew which also included Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.

‘OMG 2’ is the sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2012 film, ‘OMG: Oh My God!’ which also starred Paresh Rawal in the lead role. In the sequel, the actor plays the role of a messenger of Lord Shiva in the movie.
The film was put on hold by the Censor Board and about 27 changes were directed to the filmmakers. After making the changes, OMG 2 was given an ‘Adults Only (A)’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film, which released on August 11, clashed with Anil Sharma’s ‘Gadar 2‘, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Both the films also faced competition from Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer‘.
