Test match is the real cricket and T20 has repeatedly been ruining matches and does not connote patience which test match stands for. With a growing interest in T20, viewers no longer value test matches, and understanding test cricket will make one value and enjoy the game of cricket more. When IPL takes place, most cricket lovers are sad but when the Ashes series between say Australia and England, or other test series the table turns and people are more ecstatic because T20 is predictable while test matches are not.
While you find a large crowd enjoying and in the spirit of cricket when a test match is played, T20 is bamboozled with fans for the fun of it and not fully watching to enjoy or be in the spirit of the game.
