Nothing beats a traditional Indian thali with our favourite delights that we have grown up eating. The warmth of rotis and naans, the aroma of a slow-cooked dal, the vibrancy of different sabzis – can there be anything better than this? We love Indian food so much that we also often prefer it when eating out or ordering in. Bansooriwala’s is an Indian food chain that is popular among the masses, Bansooriwala’s offers an extensive menu of traditional Indian sweets and savoury delights prepared using premium ingredients, including pure desi ghee, to ensure an unparalleled culinary experience for guests.
After having heard a lot about it I decided to try it out. I went for their Shyams thali which was as tasty as it was attractive. The dal was just perfect, the smokiness and the spices were on point. Malai kofta was as creamy and luscious as it should be. Mix veg sabzi brightened up my palate with its melange of colours and flavours. Paired with rice, rotis and salad, it was the perfect meal. But the best was dahi bhalla. The chaat was a mix of eclectic flavours and I just couldn’t get enough of it. Even though my tummy was full, I wanted more of the dahi bhalla. The finale was of juicy gulab jamun. It was good but I felt that the flavour of saffron overpowered, so that could have been more balanced.

I also had their pav bhaji which was so delicious that the plate was wiped off in minutes. Ras Malai after that was a heavenly experience. It was spongy and velvety.
Just when I had finished my grand meal, I got to know that Bansooriwala’s has opened its new 4th outlet on the bustling midway Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. This new outlet will have 100+ accommodation spaces ensuring the best of its services to the customers. Now I know what my definite stop will be on my drive to Jaipur next time.
