Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is all set to make her debut with Zoya Akhtar‘s upcoming movie The Archies. In a new interview, Suhana was asked about her character Veronica and how would she react if she finds out her boyfriend was flirting with and messaging other women online.
In her response, Suhana told Vogue India that Veronica had already got a long list of boys chasing after her and she’s going to text other boys herself.However, in real life, Suhana feels differently than Veronica and said that she would dump hercheating boyfriend ‘because I am the type of girl who strictly likes a one-woman man.’
In the same interview, Suhana was further asked how she would react if someone spreads nasty rumours about her. She replied as Veronica first, “Veronica would say that people talk about her only because nobody is listening when they talk about themselves.” Then as Suhana, she said, “Well, I think I’m very different from the character I play. I would have a nice big cry about it.”Meanwhile, the makers of The Archies on Tuesday announced the film’s official release date, which is December 7. Apart from Suhana, the film also stars Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda in the lead roles.
The Indian adaptation of the beloved comics will see Dot play Ethel Muggs, Agastya Nanda as the charming and talented Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor take on the role of Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as the always hungry Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge portrayed by Suhana Khan, Heartthrob Reggie Mantle will be showcased by Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda will play Dilton Doiley.
