Sheeba says she’s elated with the response on her scene with Dharmendra in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir who is known for her work in the 1990 for movies like ‘Suryavanshi’, Miss 420′ among others, has a cameo in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘. There’s a scene in the film which leaves audiences in frenzy as she gets a kiss from legendary actor Dharmendra on her cheek. That left people in splits and Sheeba is elated with the response she’s getting.

She says, “I am getting such a tremendous response for just that scene.

There’s too much clapping and laughter in the theatres. I’m glad that I did it.” Incidentally, Sheeba’s husband also has a cameo in the film. She added further, “It’s a coincidence that my hubby Akashdeep also had a scene in the same film and its a delight to be part of KJo films. Maybe next time we are repeated again in a KJo film with bigger roles.”
The actress also spoke about her limited screen time and said, “I was clear about the limited screen space. It was a KJo film so I had no reason to say no. His films are a celebration of cinema. I am aware of his huge career journey and stardom. It was surely a fan moment.”
‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir, Tota Roy Chaudhury, Churni Ganguly among others. The film which released on Friday is getting rave reviews and every actor is being loved by the audience. It collected a decent Rs 11 crore on its opening day while the Saturday collection was higher with Rs 16 crore due to positive word of mouth.
