The answer to ‘Will Kitty end up with Min-Ho or Yuri?’ is hopefully in the new season of XO, Kitty… which has been announced! The third season of ‘To All The Boys’ spinoff, ‘XO, Kitty,’ which illustrates the life of Katherine ‘Kitty’ Song Covey in Seoul, South Korea, is officially in the works.
Streaming giant announced the brand new season by posting a Valentine’s special reel, where Anna Cathcart (Kitty) received a bouquet with a bag that contained the ultimate secret, captioning, “roses are red, violets are blue, there’s a third season of xo kitty, in store for you!” Later, Cathcart excitedly announced, “Season 3 of ‘XO Kitty’ is in the works.”
In an interview with Deadline, Jessica O’Toole, the showrunner, revealed that there will be a lot more drama than in the previous seasons. She continued, “I know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 2, but I can promise season 3 will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode — not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure…and kissing. Lots of kissing.”
The series, which premiered on January 16, 2025, created a buzz around social media, reportedly leading to 14.2 million views and 57.7 hours of binge-watching in the first week, topping the charts in 89 countries. The new release impacted the previous season, which was at No. 6 on the charts with an additional 3.1 million views. Not only the ‘XO Kitty’ but the ‘To All the Boys’ trilogy resurfaced on the charts.
In Season 2, Kitty’s character was seen becoming mature with her being tangled between family, proving that she could be a good student and simultaneously combat the challenges of her love life. The insecurities and heartbreaks in the season made the show even more humane. However, the season kept fans wanting more, and with the aching cliffhanger, the anticipation only became worse.
