However, at the box office, Tiger 3 is gradually gaining momentum in India, but in the US markets, the film seems to have hit a standstill.The USA market played a crucial role in the massive success of Pathaan, amassing approximately $1.4 million on its opening day from 627 theaters, according to Box Office Mojo. Two days before its release (January 24th), thePathaan‘s advance ticket sales had already reached $460,781. But when it comes to Tiger 3 which is also exactly two days away from its release, it has collected only $186014 from its 638 locations, it has sold about 12864 tickets for day 1, while its premiere shows has performed only a bit better to collect $200332 from its 627 locations. The makers would be hoping that in the next few days the collections show a drastic jump, else everything will depend on word of mouth for the film to break Pathaan’s record.
It is a known fact that Shah Rukh Khan is going to make a cameo appearance in Tiger 3 but a few days back the production house also revealed that Hrithik Roshan’s character Agent Kabir will also be seen in the film. Producer Aditya Chopra has pulled off a casting coup, bringing together Shah Rukh, Salman and Hrithik in the same film.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is scheduled to hit the screens on November 12, coinciding with the festival of Diwali.
