When he was asked if he has ever called directors and producers to ask for work, Rohit told Siddharth Kannan that he recently called Karan Johar and asked him why he wasn’t casting him in his movies when he was praising his performances.
“I have called people and said that I want to work with you. Recently, I called Karan Johar and said that I have known you for such a long time, I am doing good work, you say that I am doing good work, so why are you not giving me work?” he said.
Rohit, who has worked in movies like Kaabil, Mumbai Saga, Shootout at Lokhandwala among many others, has now realised that everybody has their own set of struggles. He then laughed and said that Karan might call him after watching this interview and cast him in the sequel of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The actor is best known for his performance in the popular TV show called Swabhimaan. He has also acted in daily soaps like Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Kkusum.
