‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ box office collection day 4: This Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt starrer has a good first Monday | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Karan Johar‘s directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘ had a decent opening number when it released on Friday. The film grossed around Rs 11 crore on its opening day at the box office. But it saw a tremendous growth in its numbers on Saturday and Sunday which were approx around Rs 16 crore and Rs 18.5 crore respectively.

But here’s some good news. ‘RRKPK’ has also been able to sustain well on Monday.

The film has made Rs 6.75 crore nett on Monday as per boxofficeindia.com. This is only 35 percent less than its opening day numbers. With that, the total collection so far is 51.25 crore. This Monday collection was really important to know how strong the film will hold for the next entire week or 10 days. The mass circuits have holded well on Monday, but the collection isn’t high in circuits like Gujarat and Saurashtra as compared to Delhi circuits.
The trade expects RRKPK to do end its week one at around 68-69 crore. But it’s second Friday numbers will prove to be a big game changer. This was the domestic box office scenario of RRKPK. But even overseas, the film has continued to hold well and made around $770,000 in four days.
The positive word of mouth continues to spread on social media and that is surely helping the business to grow and sustain well. RRKPK stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra.
The makers have also released the entire soundtrack of the film and if people like it then it shall definitely add up to the film’s collection.
