Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Adipurush‘ had released in June this year. The film faced severe backlash for the way it was made with really poor dialogues and treatment, and thus disrespecting the epic Ramayana. Moroever, the film was also mounted on a huge budget of about Rs 650-700 crores. Interestingly, the budget of ‘Chandrayaan 3‘ was less than the budget of ‘Adipurush’.Netizens are thus trolling the movie and are saying that instead, they should have given that much money to ISRO.
Reportedly, the budget of Chandrayaan 3 was around 615 crores and it put India on the global map with its soft landing on the moon. India created history by being the first country to land near the moon’s South Pole. Hence, netizens are criticising ‘Adipurush’ for spending so much money on such a bad film. One user wrote, “Adipurush ke Rs 600 cr, ISRO scientists ko de dena chahiye tha.” Another one said, “To put otherwise, amount spent for junk Adipurush could’ve completed a moon mission.”

Adipurush starred Prabhas in the role of Lord Ram, while Kriti played Sita. Saif Ali Khan was Lankesh while Sunny Singh played Laxman. The film was also trolled badly for its poor VFX. Recently, All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) also requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop screening the movie and immediately order a ban on Adipurush shows in theatres and OTT platforms in the future.
At the moment, ‘Adipurush’ is streaming on Amazon Prime. The film is directed by Om Raut.
