“It’s really been misunderstood. All I wanted to say is that I have put certain guidelines for myself as to how to dress around people who are way senior to me, who have I pretty much grown up idolising. Salman sir is of course one of them,” she said in a statement.

In a chat show, Palak had recalled her experience of working with Salman on Antim. She had said that Salman had a rule that all girls should be covered on the sets. When she started going to the sets wearing shirt and jogger, her mother Shweta Tiwari asked her in shock where was she going and how was she dressed so well. When she told her mom that she was going to Salman’s set, Shweta was pretty impressed.
When she was asked were these rules only for women, Palak said that Salman is a traditionalist. Though he says wear whatever you like, he is always like girls should be protected, especially in a place where they are surrounded by unknown men.
Palak is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman’s upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Vijender Singh, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Bhumika Chawla, and Siddharth Nigam.
