This is a steep decline in numbers for an Akshay starrer.The actor’s film ‘OMG 2‘ released early this year, recorded an opening day advance collection of Rs 3.3 crore. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Jawan‘ released last month, opened up a huge Rs 40 crore advance ticket sale.

According to reports on sacnilk.com, despite the low numbers, ‘Mission Raniganj’ can look forward to a promising weekened collection at the box office. It’s worth noting that the initial data was compiled without factoring in block seats due to late advance bookings.
However, efforts have been made to rectify this, and audiences can expect accurate data in the upcoming update, scheduled for around 9 PM.
‘Mission Raniganj’, is inspired by the true-life events of the late Jaswant Singh Gill. The film is set to offer audiences a unique blend of drama, inspiration, and patriotism.
The film’s soulful music is expected to take viewers on a captivating musical journey, complementing the compelling narrative.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, ‘Mission Ranignaj’ boasts of an ensemble cast including Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, and Shishir Sharma. The film revolves around the remarkable story of late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission in November 1989, showcasing a tale of courage and determination.
On the work front, Akshay has an exciting lineup of projects in the pipeline. Fans can look forward to the Hindi remake of the Tamil drama ‘Soorarai Pottru,’ set to release on February 16, 2024, as well as the action thriller ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff and the comedy ‘Housefull 5.’
Akshay will also grace the screen in ‘SkyForce,’ an untold true story capturing the bravery, emotion, and patriotism of the men in uniform involved in India’s first and deadliest airstrike against Pakistan, against all odds. The film is directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur.
