Govinda, who accidentally shot himself in the leg over a month ago, was seen outside a polling booth on Wednesday. Photos and videos of him surfaced on social media as he cast his vote in Mumbai during the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly Elections.
In an Instagram video shared by a paparazzo, Govinda was spotted exiting the polling booth, engaging briefly with people. He walked with a slight limp but smiled and waved at the paparazzi. Dressed in a white shirt, matching pants, and sunglasses, he posed for photos, showcasing his inked finger.

When a paparazzo inquired about his leg, Govinda smiled, nodded, and replied, “Sab accha hai (Everything is fine).” Hearing them call him “Chi Chi,” he playfully quipped, “Kaahe chichiya rahe ho” (loosely translated: why are you chirping).
On Saturday, Govinda was campaigning in Jalgaon but had to cut it short due to ill health. According to PTI, he was supporting Mahayuti candidates in Muktainagar, Bodwad, Pachora, and Chopda. During a roadshow in Pachora, the actor felt unwell and halted the event, later returning to Mumbai.
On October 1, Govinda was rushed to a Mumbai hospital after his licensed revolver accidentally discharged, causing a bullet wound to his knee. The mishap occurred around 4:45 am while he was preparing to leave for Kolkata and attempting to place the revolver back in the cupboard, according to Mumbai Police.
Govinda was discharged from the hospital three days after the incident. The actor, affiliated with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, was accompanied by his wife, Sunita Ahuja, and daughter, Tina Ahuja, upon leaving the hospital.
Govinda greeted media and fans with folded hands and shared details about the incident. “I was about to leave for a show in Kolkata around 5 in the morning. The gun fell and went off. I was shocked to see a fountain of blood. I made a video, consulted a doctor, and got admitted,” he explained.
