In a new set of photos leaked from the sets of ‘Superman’, James Gunn‘s highly anticipated DC Universe reboot, the actor featured in a look that was drastically different from his Superman avatar. The latest set of photos, shared by DCU_Updates, offers a first look at Corenswet as Clark Kent, in a comic book accurate look as a reporter for the Daily Planet.

Unlike the other actors playing the part before, Corenswet’s look featured a curly mane, was a significant departure from recent iterations of Kent.This look has fans convinced it effectively conceals the superhero’s alter ego, Kal-El.
“Clark Kent and Superman look like two completely different people,” commented a fan.
Another said, “THE WAY DAVID CORENSWET ALREADY LOOKS LIKE THE PERFECT CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN.”
The movie, which is currently filming in Ohio, is one of the most eagerly awaited projects set to be released by DC Studios in 2025. Production is progressing rapidly, with numerous set photos revealing the cast in costume. Photos of Skyler Gisondo, cast as Jimmy Olsen, Superman’s best friend, was also revealed among pics of Lois Lane and Perry White.
Additional characters making their first on-set appearances include Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, the Daily Planet sports reporter, and Mikaela Hoover as gossip columnist Cat Grant. Christopher McDonald was also spotted in character as Ron Troupe, another staff member of the Daily Planet. While Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor hasn’t been seen in costume yet.
‘Superman’ is scheduled to be the solo DC film releasing in 2025, set to hit theatres on July 11, 2025, approximately 10 months after the release of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga’s ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’. Other DC films in the pipeline include ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ and ‘The Batman – Part II’, both slated for release in 2026.
