Ranbir Kapoor has broken the image he has been carrying for the last so many years of doing just run of the mill light roles with his upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy. In the film he plays a son who is obsessed with his father and when he gets attacked, the son undergoes a dark transformation to extract revenge on his father’s enemies. The trailer of the film was released in Delhi on Thursday and since then no one has stopped talking about it.The film has already clocked in about 40 million views in less than 17 hours of its release.

As fans are going ga ga over Ranbir’s act, the movie folks are no less behind. One of the biggest stars of Kapoor family, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently took to Instagram to share her praise for the film, especially Ranbir Kapoor . She wrote, “ “There is only one Ranbir Kapoor.” She also gave a special shout out to Anil Kapoor and the remaining cast members of the film, she wrote, “ And my most favourite @anilskapoor. And congratulations to the entire cast and team. Stellar trailer.” She had tagged Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Sandeep Reddy Vanga and wrote, “Congratulations.” Ranbir’s mother, veteran actress Neetu Singh, also shared the trailer and wrote “Goosebumps.”
Ranbir’s wife Alia Bhatt also wasn’t far too behind in sharing her thoughts about the trailer, she wrote, “Can’t really type a full caption – too busy watching this trailer for the 7000th time. My mind is officially blown. I need to watch this movie. Like now. Animal: setting cinemas on fire from the 1st of December. Brace yourselves.”
