Ranbir Kapoor has left his fans his shocked with his avatar in ‘Animal’. Ever since he made his debut in ‘Saawariya’, Ranbir has always been known as this ‘chocolate boy’. The actor has almost redefined himself with ‘Animal’. His fierce, violent avatar has left everyone in shock but here’s how director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacted to Ranbir’s chocolate boy image.
The entire team of ‘Animal’ was in Hyderabad to promote the movie. During an event, Sandeep said, “He (Ranbir) might have a soft image on screen, but Chocolate Boy is just a tag for Ranbir Kapoor. He is fully alpha.” During the same event, Ranbir spilled the beans on why the film is called ‘Animal’. The actor shared, “I think you’re seeing this film through the perspective of this character that I play and other characters which I can’t speak about. Once you’ll see the film, you will understand.”
‘Animal’ sees Anil Kapoor play Ranbir’s father. The trailer shows us that Ranbir can even kill people and do anything for his father, despite the fact that his father has not really been nice to him since childhood. Anil is shot by someone and while he does survive, Ranbir is on a mission to kill the person who has done this.
Rashmika plays Ranbir’s wife Geetanjali in the movie. The audience is also awaiting this movie because it comes from Vanga after his successful ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’. The film also sees Bobby Deol in a pivotal role. Fans are in awe to see the bromance between Ranbir and Bobby off-screen during the promotions, though on-screen they’re enemies.
