Saying something like this blatantly in the 21st century is unfair treatment. I can’t blindly state that money spent on space or research is a waste of money. India comes in the sixth number; it stands as the sixth largest country in the economy by nominal GDP. India is currently the fastest-growing country in terms of economy. Firstly, space organizations like ISRO have set benchmarks of success in the field of space and research. It will provide enough opportunities for upcoming scientists and researchers who want to aspire to their career in the same, to expand their knowledge, and to do something for the betterment of the country. Investing in such research would help to uplift our country and open a gateway for job opportunities. Another thing is that only 1/10 of the total budget of GDP goes into the Space Exploration program. This also helps to strengthen our country in terms of security and is helpful in day-to-day life. Such inventions as GPS, the internet, or communication are entirely done by satellites that are sent into space. So these are major projects which are turning out to be helpful for the entire humankind.
