Politics at schools and universities should only serve to educate pupils about the democratic process.
They are exposed to democracy from a young age, which can help children become better citizens. They will also learn the value of reaching an agreement in this manner. Political experience in schools and colleges helps develop leadership skills and the capacity to appreciate and deal with disagreement.

However, all of this may be for naught if organized politics and political parties are permitted on campus. Politics in college should not be about rigid beliefs and party-bashing but rather about open conversations and individual political skill/craftsmanship.
Various studies have concentrated on college student demographics in recent decades to measure the next generation’s civic and political health/awareness. The findings show age with considerably greater civic potential, but, surprise, it is isolated from the realm of traditional politics. There is considerable evidence, as well as a typical portrayal in the media, that today’s college students all around the world are tired and uninterested in politics.
While student political activity is a relatively new phenomenon in many countries, beginning in the 1960s, India has a tumultuous and spectacular history of student involvement in the independence movement. The nationalist movement gave Indian youth and student youth, particularly, a false sense of political identity.

The character of student political action in the 1980s and 1990s began to diverge from the 1960s and 1970s. The new era has undoubtedly emerged with its own identity of civic participation and social activism. In this day and age, colleges and universities have taken on the role of civic engagement through curricular and co-curricular events that allow college students to influence both local and national concerns.
Politics is the study and practice of how power is exercised and who manages people’s affairs via the administration of public authority. Politics is an essential component of public education. Politics in education is more than simply electing school board members or local school councils; it is an intrinsic component of daily life. Political action entails bargaining over the distribution of scarce resources and selecting who receives what. However, not all political activities are the same. Political fights in schools and universities include a variety of perspectives and goals.
A student’s life is a critical time in which students must prioritize their education over all other activities; their active engagement in politics risks their academics, which are more important to them. Once a pupil has passed through this stage, they will not return, and even if they do, things will not be the same. Today’s kids will be the country’s leaders of tomorrow. As a result, they must be informed of the country’s political actions. Before becoming an active participant in the country’s politics, they should study more about our great leaders and the contributions of every party to the nation’s progress.

Active engagement is not recommended since it will harm their schoolwork. Students should stay out of this nasty business and consider entering politics only after obtaining the necessary qualifications.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
