Superstar Jr NTR‘s action-packed drama ‘Devara: Part 1′ is continuing its impressive run at the box office. The film which saw a dip in collections on Monday, managed to get a strong hold on Tuesday and see an upward shift in its collections. According to the latest box office reports, the film has seen a noticeable boost as audiences flocked to theatres on Tuesday evening for night shows ahead of the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday.
It is typical for films to experience a dip during weekdays, especially when reviews are mixed. However, ‘Devara’ has bucked the trend, largely benefiting from the upcoming holiday. Early estimates suggest that the movie has grossed between Rs 8-9 crore across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, marking a slight increase from Monday’s figures. Other Southern states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, have also shown collections picking up with an estimated total to be in the range of Rs 2.5 crore.

Surprisingly, the Hindi belt has also emerged as a strong region for ‘Devara’. The film saw a significant rise in collections on its fifth day, with expected earnings between Rs 5-5.5 crore in North India. The dubbed Hindi version is estimated to collect Rs 4-4.5 crore nett on Tuesday, contributing to a projected all-India gross of Rs 15.5 crore to Rs 16.5 crore. The film’s nett total is estimated to be around Rs 13.5 crore.
With this boost, ‘Devara’ is estimated to have earned a total of around Rs 187 crore nett with goss collections shooting past Rs 220 crore mark in five days.
The film made an impressive debut, earning an estimated Rs 82.5 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 38.2 crore on Saturday and Rs 39.9 crore on Sunday. Monday saw a dip with an estimated Rs 12.75 crore, but with the mid-week holiday, the film is expected to maintain its momentum. The Gandhi Jayanti holiday is expected to boost box office figures, with expectations of further growth in the coming days.
